LifeArc Ventures invests in early-stage science-led companies, investing in Seed and Series A investment rounds, with significant follow-on investment for their successful portfolio companies. LifeArc Ventures is part of LifeArc, a self-financing medical research charity, transforming the way diseases are identified and treated.

Pitcher & Crow were tasked to create from the ground up the LifeArc Ventures brand, then create a number of branded communications such as the website.

The new visual identity takes inspiration from DNA sequencing imagery. Genetics are at the core of LifeArc Ventures portfolio investments, different areas in their portfolio and diversity in skillsets throughout the team make it the perfect metaphor for the identity and visual language.

The DNA bars are at the core of the brands visual language, the 3 bars represent the 3 core areas that the company invests: Therapeutics, HealthTech and MedTech. These 3D rendered DNA bars wrap and intersect graphic representations of the portfolio companies. The resulting visual language is energetic, engaging and truly unique to the space.
